About two weeks ago I was in London. One of the areas I visited is Greenwich. This place is very well-known for giving its name to the Greenwich Meridian, and because its port is home of the famous Cutty Sark ship. This ship was damaged by fire 4 years ago and is now being restored, so it wasn't possible to visit it. But this area is also worth a visit for its lively atmosphere and for the nice designer shops it holds.
Hace una dos semanas estuve en Londres. Una de las áreas que visité es Greenwich. Esta zona es mundialmente conocida por dar nombre al meridiano más famoso, y porque en su puerto habita el popular Cutty Sark. Este barco se incendió hace 4 años y ahora lo están rehabilitando, así que no fue posible visitarlo. Pero también vale la pena visitar esta zona por su animado ambiente y por sus pequeñas tiendas de diseñadores noveles.
Lush Designs - 8 College Approach
What calls your attention at the very moment you enter this shop are the amazing lampshades they sell, they are beautiful. They also sell clocks, cushions, tea towels, aprons and pillow covers. Their illustrations show animals, flowers and vegetables all drawn in excellent taste.
Lo que más llama la atención en cuanto entras en esta tienda son las increibles pantallas de lámpara que venden, son preciosas. También venden relojes de pared, cojines, paños de cocina y fundas de almohada. Sus estampados muestran animales, flores y verduras, todo ilustrado con un gusto excelente.
Reddoor - 10 Turnpin Lane
This place is both a cosy café and an accessories shop. They sell very nice handmade brooches, necklaces and rings. And you can have a nice caffe latte with a delicious cupcake while admiring their collection of paintings and teapots.
Este lugar tanto es una acogedora cafetería como una tienda de complementos. Venden broches, collares y anillos hechos a mano. Y, mientras te tomas un café con leche acompañado de una deliciosa "cupcake", puedes admirar su colección de cuadros y teteras.
The Home Front - 2A Greenwich Market
This is a beautiful shop, I absolutely love everything they sell. Cushions, teapots, mugs, tableclothes, gardening items, old tube and bus signs ... so much to choose!
Esta tienda es preciosa, me encanta todo lo que venden. Cojines, teteras, tazas, manteles, utensilios de jardín, letreros de metro y bus antiguos ... ¡hay tanto que mirar!
Greenwich Market
This market holds vintage, antiques and second hand stalls on Thusdays and Fridays, and crafts on Saturdays. I was there on a Thursday - of course, I love vintage items! Eventhough it's not a big market, most of the stalls are really nice, and their owners very friendly. Prices are reasonable, and you can even get a discount if you get more than one item. I couldn't help getting the coasters on picture 2, and they only cost me 3 pounds!
En este mercado encuentras puestos de segunda mano, antigüedades y vintage los jueves y los viernes, y artesanía los sábados. Yo fui en jueves, ¡cómo no, con lo que me gusta todo lo vintage! Aunque no es un mercado muy grande, los puestos son muy bonitos, y los dueños muy agradables. Los precios son asequibles, e incluso te hacen algún descuento si te llevas más de una cosa. No pude evitar llevarme los posavasos de la segunda foto, ¡y sólo me costaron 3 libras! (unos 3.5 euros)

I love polka dots and big retro prints, and I love bags and purses too. That's just what I found in this shop: beautiful bags in amazing prints and colours. Plus the shop itself is so nicely decorated that it makes you want to stay there, reading a book on their armchair...
Me encantan los topos y los estampados retro. También me gustan muchísimo los bolsos, neceseres y monederos. Y esa combinación es la que encontré en esta tienda: bolsos preciosos de estampados bien coloridos (¡cómo a mí me gusta!). Además la tienda tiene una decoración muy bonita que hace que te apetezca quedarte ahí, leyendo en su sillón...
