Magma - 8 Earlham St, Covent Garden
My favourite place to buy design books is Magma. They always have the coolest books on the latest design trends. You can also get posters and postcards there. Down the same street, a few metres further, you get another Magma shop in which you can get all kind of design gifts.Mi librería preferida para comprar los mejores libros de diseño con las tendencias más actuales. También se pueden comprar posters y postales. En la misma calle, unos metros más allá, hay otra tienda de Magma donde comprar todo tipo de regalos de diseño.
Cath Kidston - 28-32 Shelton Street, Covent Garden
Cath Kidston store really makes you stand "wowing" for a while. Everything they sell is beautiful, and soooo British. The typical floral print and all kind of super feminine items that most women love (I include myself there!)
Al entrar en la tienda de Cath Kidston te quedas maravillado durante un rato. Todo lo que venden es precioso y taaaan británico. El típico estampado floral y todo tipo de objetos súper femeninos que encanta a la mayoría de mujeres (¡me incluyo a mí misma!)
No 1 Cafe - 1 Tower Street, Covent Garden
When you feel hungry, you don't have to miss the chance to eat the best jacket potato in London (and I'm being totally honest!) The place to go is No 1 Cafe. You'll get one of the biggest and nicest jacket potatoes you've ever had, and at a very reasonable price. You won't be disappointed!
Cuando te entra el apetito, no tienes que perder la oportunidad de comer la mejor "jacket potato" en Londres (¡sin exagerar!) El sitio al que acudir es No 1 Cafe. Te comerás una de las mejores "jacket potatoes" que jamás hayas comido, y a un precio muy razonable. ¡Te encantará!
Artbox - Thomas Neals Centre, Covent Garden
If you like Japanese style stationery, this is the place to go. They sell all kind of pens, pencils, pencil cases and notebooks all with the cutest childish-like Japanese illustrations.
Si te gustan los productos de papelería de estilo japonés, éste es el sitio donde ir. Venden todo tipo de bolis, lápices, estuches y libretas, todo con las típicas ilustraciones japonesas.
Orla Kiely - 31 Monmouth St, Covent Garden
To finish, I need to mention the store of one of my favourite designers: Orla Kiely. Her simple but colourful designs, with a retro touch, just make me want to own everything she designs. From clothes and bags to homeware, it's just all so beautiful!
Para acabar, mencionar la tienda de una de mis diseñadoras preferidas: Orla Kiely. Sus diseños sencillos pero llenos de color y con un toque retro, hacen que quiera quedarme con todo lo que diseña. Desde ropa y bolsos hasta objetos para el hogar, ¡es todo tan bonito!
